Arrive in Kathmandu, where you will be met and assisted before being transferred to your hotel.
In Kathmandu, admire the city’s exquisite Newar architecture as you explore the magnificent Durbar Square and the Teleju Temple with its golden roofs. Stroll through the bustling bazaar and the winding alleys of the old town. Visit Swayambhunath, famously known as the ‘Monkey Temple,’ believed to be one of the oldest shrines in the world. In the afternoon, discover Pashupatinath, Nepal’s holiest Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, followed by a visit to Boudhanath to witness the grand stupa, a sacred site revered by both Buddhists and Hindus.
Take a morning flight to Pokhara, then continue by road with your guides and porters to the starting point of your trek. Hike along a ridgeline in the lower Annapurna foothills before descending into the picturesque Modi River Valley, where your lodge offers stunning views of the sacred Machapuchare, also known as Fishtail Mountain. After lunch, you may choose to take a leisurely walk to explore the nearby village of Birethanti. Overnight stay at Sanctuary Lodge.
Following the course of the Modi River Valley, gradually ascend out of the valley and make your way higher into the mountains. Walk through quaint hamlets, soaking in the stunning vistas of mountains and forests along the way. Enjoy refreshments during the trek, with lunch served at the lodge in the early afternoon. Overnight stay at Himalaya Lodge.
After breakfast, stroll through the traditional Gurung village of Ghandruk, keeping an eye out for mule caravans transporting supplies to the surrounding Gurkha communities. Continue your descent to Shauli Bazaar, then follow the Modi River back to Sanctuary Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, begin your ascent once more, climbing partly via well-laid stone steps and partly along winding switchbacks. Overnight at Gurung Lodge.
Trek through the charming, untouched village of Patlekhet, then pause at Pothana, home to a community of Tibetan traders offering a variety of souvenirs. Continue your walk to Basanta Lodge in Dhampus, where you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of the entire Annapurna Range. After lunch, follow the ridgeline and make your way down through forested slopes and terraced fields to the valley floor. Conclude the day with a drive to Pokhara, where you’ll spend two nights at the Temple Tree Resort & Spa.
In the morning, set out to visit Devi’s Fall, a local Tibetan village, and the striking Seti River gorge. Explore the revered Binda Basini Temple and wander through the bustling Old Bazaar, where you’ll find everything from gold ornaments to everyday goods and unique souvenirs. Afterwards, enjoy a short boat ride on Fewa Lake, admiring the stunning reflections of the surrounding mountains in its tranquil waters. Spend the afternoon at your leisure.
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Pokhara airport for your flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace. In the evening, savour a special Farewell Dinner at a traditional Nepalese restaurant, accompanied by a cultural performance. Overnight stay at the Shangri-La Hotel.
